No More Beef? 50 Cent Says Floyd Mayweather Is Still The Best Fighter

A simple misunderstanding can easily escalate into a conflict even between the best of acquaintances. Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent have been taken jabs at each other on social media recently, but the music mogul, apparently, still has high regard for the unbeaten American boxer and has said in a recent interview that Mayweather is still the best fighter.

50 Cent was in the studio of Los Angelesradio station, "Power 106," on Aug 31. Though he has been blasting Mayweather with his posts on social media, 50 cent, in fact, has some nice words to say about the undefeated fighter. According to 50 Cent, Mayweather is like his younger brother. He also added that he still thinks that Mayweather is the best fighter right now.

50 Cent further explained that the reason why he was taking jabs at Mayweather on social media was only because he felt it was the right thing to do especially if the boxer says something about him in the public. "I always say, he's like my younger brother, but if he says something, I'm gonna respond to it, because I think he thinks he can say anything and do anything publicly," 50 Cent told Power 106.
The "In The Club" singer then went on to enumerate the instances when Mayweather has said only to deny having said it, like when Mayweather said the he slept with T.I.'s wife during his press conference but took back what he said. 50 Cent also revealed that he somehow got pissed when he woke up one morning to find out that Mayweather has spoken unsolicited comment about him. "It's the same thing that he did to his Daddy, when he fought with his Dad."
"You know, I'm just saying that he (Mayweather) goes through that thing when he fought out with people, no matter how close they are to him or who they are to him."
"Champ has got a lot of different things with him, don't get it twisted at all, he's still the best fighter."
50 Cent was in Power 106 to promote G-Unit's surprise EP "The Beauty of Independence." 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has reportedly been working to get G-Unit become known in the music industry since the early 2000s, MTV reported. G-Unit has previous worked two albums in the past, Beg for Mercy and T.O.S. (Terminate of Sight), which were released in 2003 and 2008, respectively.
