According to the prosecutor, they committed the offence on November 23, at about 2 a.m. along Capital Hotel road in Dada Estate, Osogbo.
The police inspector said that the two men conspired, assaulted and forcefully raped the mentally challenged woman. Soon after having committed the crime they were arrested by the police.
However, the accused pleaded not guilty to the offence when the charge was read to them and were granted bail totaling N100,000 and two sureties each in like sum.
Pursuant to the procedure the sureties must reside within the court's jurisdiction, present evidence of tax payment and two passport photographs as well as attach an affidavit of means.
Case hearing will continue on January 30, 2014.
