She is known for her bold behaviour on stage - but Lady Gaga seriously failed to live up to the first half of her pop moniker, last night.

Wearingan articulated body suit with futuristic stockings and PVC paneling, the 27 year-old star flashed her underwear to guests at the launch concert of her new album.

The eye-popping performance took place at the Brooklyn Navy Yard on the eve of Artpop's global release

Playing at her trademark piano, the star - real nameStefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta - raised her left leg and placed it on the instrument, despite being elevated above her fans.

The result was an eyeful for guests who then had a direct view of everything beneath her outfit.
Fortunately, the pose didn't last long before she was back standing - but the incident no doubt raised eyebrows with fans and critics alike.
