So where has Brandi Cyrus – the older half-sister of singer Miley Cyrus – been hiding all these years?

Brandi, a 26-year-old guitarist and blogger, was spotted at the American Music Awards Sunday in Los Angeles, working for an entertainment website.

Although her job was to conduct red carpet interviews for Spin Media, Brandi ended up being the center of attention herself when photographers spotted the willowy blonde and asked her to pose in her slinky white dress and black and white strappy high heels.

Sunday's appearance was a rare one for Brandi, but she seemed to be warming up to the attention.
In a series of tweets she posted about being at the AMAs, she exclaimed:'This is so fun!!'

Brandi and Miley look remarkably alike, but Brandi's shy demeanor seemed to touch a chord with onlookers at the AMAs.

Brandi and her brother, Trace, are Tish Cyrus' children from a previous marriage.

Billy Ray adopted them. Billy Ray and Tish then had three more children, the oldest being Miley.
Brandi, who blogs about music and fashion, once called herself 'the forgotten' Cyrus child.
