How to Be a Good (Okay, Amazing) Kisser

In our opinion, kissing is underrated. The right kind of smooch can nail a second date, get you both insanely turned on—even make him/her fall more deeply in love with you.
We got real women to spill on the go-to moves that made them good kissers.

-1-

"I start off really slowly. First, I just rub my closed lips against his, without actually kissing. Next, I take his bottom lip into my mouth and very gently suck on it; then I do the same to his top lip. Finally, I take both of his lips inside of mine and bite them softly. By that time, he's all over me." —Liliana D.

-2-

"I wear a gloss that contains cinnamon oil. It makes my lips look plump and feel super pillowy."
—Megan A.

-3-

"Every so often during a very passionate kiss, when our lips are sealed together, I'll inhale through my mouth instead of my nose. It almost feels like I'm taking his breath into my body—it's incredibly intimate and intense."
—Lili C.

-4-

"I'll run the tip of my tongue down the center of a guy's slightly-parted lips." —Vienna B.

-5-

"Before kissing a part of my guy's body—like his neck, stomach, or thighs—I'll breathe warm air across the area. It heightens the anticipation so that when I finally touch my mouth to his skin, it feels even more intense."
—Caitlin G.

-6-

"Every once in a while, I like to graze the tip of my tongue against the roof of his mouth. I don't put it far enough in to choke him or anything, but that little tickle is so unexpected—it gets a great reaction every time."
—Alison P.

-7-

"Take your time. Sometimes I find myself hurrying through making out just to get to the next step, but if I draw out my kisses so that they're long and slow, both of us get way more turned on than if we'd rushed it." —Adriana T.

-8-

"My No. 1 best kissing technique happens right at the end of a great kiss. I apply a very gentle suction on his bottom lip as I pull away."
—Andrea L.

-9-

"It's not only what you do with your lips that matters, but also what you do with your hands. During a romantic kiss, I'll run my fingers through my husband's hair. For a rougher, sexier kiss, I'll scratch my nails down his back or grab his shirt and pull him towards me."
—Lee D.

-10-

"Remember to keep your jaw and mouth relaxed, so that your lips feel soft—sometimes I even give myself a quick jaw massage before a date. If you're tense, then your lips get hard and tight, which isn't very sexy." —Christina A.

-11-

"Sometimes when I'm going down on my man, I'll 'make out' with his penis. I plant small kisses up and down his shaft, and then take him fully into my mouth, like I'm French-kissing it." —Kristina T.

-12-

"Kissing is all about rhythm, so I always keep my head moving a little—kind of like a continuous, slow wave." —Esmeralda C.

-13-

"I pout my lips before kissing to make them feel fuller and juicier against his." —Emily T.
