Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy Tell Em is not going to let a publicized arrest on a weapons charge slow him down for getting his hustle on and promised new tunes would
be dropping heading into the weekend.
Although brief with his words, SB acknowledged the headlines he sparked after being arrested
earlier in the week.
"Thanks for everyone who sent love and checked on me I appreciate we all good I'm gonna drop some music tonight! Sh*t crazy!!!," SB tweeted January 24.

According to reports, the arrest went down Wednesday (January 22) morning.

enforcement sources tell us ... the 23-year-old rapper was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over in the San Fernando Valley for running a stop sign early Wednesday morning.
During the stop, cops say they noticed that Soulja was in possession of a loaded gun -- and arrested him on the stop. Soulja was hauled to a nearby jail -- he's currently being booked. Soulja has a history of run- ins with the law -- he was busted for weed and weapons back in 2011. (TMZ)
Last month, Soulja Boy was dragged into a nasty alleged baby mother drama case.
The woman claiming Soulja Boy fathered her kid has some hard evidence he's the daddy ... including pictures of her straddling Soulja.
Diamond Shantaniece Mackey filed legal docs claiming Soulja Boy has a son -- 5-year-old Portlon. Turns out Diamond may have struck gold with a picture taken in 2007 in a hotel room where she claims she took a pregnancy test ...which came back positive. During her pregnancy, Soulja became a huge star with the hit, "Crank That."
After Portlon was born ... Diamond says Soulja took a home DNA test and texted her a picture of a 0% sign and then changed his phone number. (TMZ)
Although no longer a love interest, female rapper Diamond said she still maintained a close relationship with SB last February.
"Well, I'm single, but the relationship as far as me and him, we're best friends so I think thats what keeps us so balanced," she revealed in an interview. "I learned a lot from him and he learned a lot from me. Our foundation is that we're really really good friends, he's a good person." (Everything Girls Love)
