Liverpool and Chelsea fans clash outside Anfield following Blues victory

There were ugly scenes at Anfield following Chelsea's 2-0 win over Liverpool on Sunday afternoon as fans clashed outside the stadium.
Pictures have emerged of a scuffle outside the Anfield Road end of the stadium after Liverpool fans took exception to Chelsea supporters singing about Reds captain Steven Gerrard after the match.
One fan appeared to throw a punch while others had to be restrained by police.
Another picture showed police acting as a barricade between the two sets of supporters as fans chanted.
Liverpool's hopes of landing their first title in 24 years were dented as goals from Demba Ba and Willian gave Chelsea victory.
Gerrard's ghastly mistake - miscontrolling the slipping in midfield - allowed Ba to run clear and slip underneath Simon Mignolet in first half stoppage time.
The result was wrapped up moments before the final whistle when, with the home defence pouring forward in search of an equaliser, Fernando Torres and Willian walked the ball into the net.
It sparked wild scenes in the away end, with Jose Mourinho's side now back in the title race.
Focus on Gerrard clearly riled home fans, who were pictured aggressively taunting the travelling contingent in retaliation.
To add further woe for Liverpool, Manchester City were able to take advantage of Brendan Rodgers' side's defeat by beating Crystal Palace 2-0 courtesy of Edin Dzeko and Yaya Toure goals.
