CRIME: How Two Brothers Conspired And Robbed Man At Gun Point

Two brothers, Mzuaii Uaaku, 35, and Terzungwe Uaaku, 25, were on Tuesday remanded at the Federal Prisons, Makurdi, bya Magistrates' Courtfor alleged conspiracy and armed robbery.
The duo, who are both farmers hails from Mondo village in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State.
Cpl. Adama Owoicho, the police prosecutor said that Oragbai Terna of R.C.M Primary School, Oragbai, reported the case at the Oragbai police station on March 28.
According to him, the complainant was at home when his son, Terso Terna, reported to him that he had been attacked.
The prosecutor said that the accused persons, with three others now at large, attacked Terso at gun-point while he was on his way to Oragbai village, adding that Terso was beaten by the accused when he failed to give them money.
Owoicho said that Terso sustained injuries following the attack, and that the assailants were arrested at Oragbai on April 4.
He said that investigation into the case was still ongoing, and prayed the court for another date for mention.
Owoicho informed the court that the offences were contrary to Sections 6(1) and 1(2) of the Robbery and Firearms (Special Provision) Act Cap RII Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
The plea of the defendant's were not taken for want of jurisdiction.
Magistrate Franca Yuwa, adjourned the case to June 30 for mention.
