LASU Students Reject Slash In Tuition Fee, Said They Want More Reduction

Students of the Lagos State University (LASU) have rejected government's decision to slash their school fees by up to 60 percent.
The Lagos State Government had on Wednesday announced a slash of the fees at between 34 and 60 percent, without stating in monetary value the reduction.
The president of the school's students union declared the reduction as a "joke" that is unacceptable.
Yusuf Nurudeen said students want the fees to be reduced to N46,500 as the highest to be paid by any student.
Nurudeen maintained that the institution would remain shut until government agrees to their demands.
