Kanye West Turns 37 — Happy Birthday to Yeezy

This has beenquitethe year for Yeezy — and we're so excited to run down his best moments. On June 8, he turns 37 and we know that he's looking back at the last year as one of the best ever.

Happy birthday, Yeezy! Kanye Westwill surely be celebrating his 37th birthday surrounded by his love ones, and we know that he's got many of them — especially after he became officially part of the family when he married Kim Kardashian

June11:The New York Timespublishes a full feature interview with Kanye where he said some of his most incredible quotes of all time, including calling himself "theMichael Jordanof music" and the "undoubtedly, you know,Steve [Jobs]of Internet, downtown, fashion, culture."
Four days later on June 15, Kim and Kanye welcome their first baby,North Westinto the world! His albumYeezusdrops three days later.
August23: We finally get a glimpse of Baby North — Kanye heads toKris Jenner's talk show and shares the first official photo of the stunning new baby!
Two days later, Kanye stops by the MTV Video Music Awards for a surprise performance of "Blood on the Leaves," and it's of course flawless.
October21: Kanye wowseveryoneby bringing all of Kim's friends, families, makeup artists, hair stylists, etc. to San Francisco where he surprises her on her 33rd birthday… with a giant 15-carat diamond ring and an incredibly romantic proposal. (She said yes!)
On the 28th, he revealed in a new interview that he and Kim were planning a summer wedding and want "fighter jets."
November19: Kanye reveals the music video forBound 2, featuring none other than his soon-to-be-wife, Kim… topless.
March21: Kanye and Kim become the first interracial couple ever (and she's the first reality star) to land the cover ofVogue. Kim stuns on the cover and the inside spread in a ton of wedding dresses and even baby North shows up in the behind-the-scenes video.
May5: The couple hit the carpet at the Met Gala after getting criticized the year before — and look super hot!
On May 23, they officially celebrate with their friends and family in a rehearsal dinner at the Palace of Versailles. The next day, they fly guests to Italy and become Mr. and Mrs. West in a lavish ceremony at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. Afterward, they jet for Ireland for a romantic, relaxing honeymoon.
