Game of Thrones star Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson may be the strongest man in Hollywood.
The actor - who was last seen on screens making someone's head explode with his bare hands on the most recent episode of the HBO fantasy epic- lifts nearly 1000lbs in an incredible video.
Björnsson - who can be seen lifting the mammoth weight with ease in the video - recently revealed that he landed the role of The Mountain in Game of Thrones after he picked up another man during the audition.
"[HBO] contacted me and called me in for an audition," Björnsson said in a Reddit AMA.
"During the audition I lifted the guy up (well he asked me to) and they were really impressed."
The massive Icelandic powerlifter also revealed all about what makes him so strong - namely the 10,000 calories a day he eats to maintain his mountain-like bulk and spoke about picking between being a strongman and actor.
"I had to choose between being a strong man competitor as well as an actor - and the NFL," Björnsson added.
"Right now my head and my goal is becoming the World's Strongest Man!"
