David Beckham looking FAT after gaining weight following retirement

And the footballer was clearly feeling a bit full of himself when he thanked his fans for hitting 40million "likes" on his Facebook page.
Although Beckshas still got a physique to die for, this snap he posted with the words "Your support is so special. I never forget it, x," shows he may be seeing the first signs of middle-age spread.

Friends say the star, who retired from football last year, admits he's picked up a few pounds now that his training regime has relaxed.
"David is still amazingly fit, but like most men approaching their 40s he's seen a slight increase in weight," said one pal.
"He's pretty confident he can control his body weight – David's certainly not worried."
