Chris Brown totally stole the show with his surprise performance and duet with Nicki Minaj at last year's BET Awards on June 30, 2013. But unfortunately the "Fine China" singer, who was recently released from jail on June 2, has NOT been asked to perform at this year's show. Here's what we know.
Chris, 25, has been throwing himself into his music after his three-month stint in jail, but apparently he won't have the opportunity to show off his freshly honed talents at the upcoming BET Awards.
"There have been no rehearsals set for Chris Brown for an individual performance, he hasn't been attached to anyone else's performances and he is not scheduled to perform at the show," a source tells HollywoodLife.comEXCLUSIVELY. "Even the last time he was the secret performance a few years ago, people knew it was him, and there have been zero rumors going around that that will happen again. So a Chris Brown performance is not happening this year."
