Chris Brown left prison on June 2 a changed man, so say sources exclusive to HollywoodLife.com who reveal that prison has taught Chris how to respect not only longtime girlfriend Karrueche Tran, but his mother, Joyce Hawkins, as well!
Chris Brown, 25, was released from prison on June 2, but he's not out of the woods yet — he's still awaiting trial for an alleged assault which occurred in Washington, D.C. in Oct. 2013. However, now that he's left the big house after spending 59 days there, Chris is a changed man who has learned how to respect his mother,Joyce Hawkins, and his longtime girlfriend, Karrueche Tran
"Jail was one of those things that has humbled Chris and really just made him understand, point blank, that the world doesn't revolve around him," our source revealed.
"He's not the center of the universe as he so thought and he's a regular person just like everybody else. It's also made him respect women more, specifically his mother and Karrueche.
"Joyce has done nothing but try to give Chris all the best this world offers and she did that, for the most part, singlehandedly. Chris now understands that and told his mother just how proud of her she is," our source continued. "He knows he's no longer that man. … He wishes he could change those circumstances so that they never even happened."
