The singer was only discharged from hospital last Thursday after spending a week and a half there following a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics.
And now it has been confirmed that Miley will have to postpone the first two European dates of the Bangerz tour - which had been scheduled in Amsterdam on May 2nd and Antwerp on May 4th - while she continues to recover from the illness.
A statement from Miley's people confirmed that the dates have now been rescheduled for June 22nd and June 20th, as the singer's doctors have banned her from travelling until she is fully recovered.
The statement read: 'Cyrus is continuing to recover from the severe allergic reaction she suffered on April 15.
'After a period of improvement, Cyrus' symptoms have returned and Doctor's will not permit her to travel. This type of extreme reaction can last up to 27 days and Cyrus must remain under Doctor's care at this time.'
The European leg of the tour is still set to kick off at London's O2 Arena on May 6th.
However Miley seems to be less than impressed by the news that she will not be able to perform in early May, writing on her Twitter page on Monday: 'R u f***ing kidding me?!?!?!?? #aprilcangof***itself.'
The 21-year-old followed it up with a tweet the next day that consisted of dozens of crying faces.
A source told E!: 'Miley is very bummed about it.'
The Bangerz hit-maker had to cance the end of the US leg of the tour when she suffered the allergic reaction.
Miley opened up about her previous experience in hospital on Monday, telling Ryan Seacrest in a radio interview: 'It was insane. I was begging the doctors, "Let me out to go do the show!" It was basically no way.'
The Wrecking Ball star revealed she got sick while on the road touring, but after taking doctor-prescribed medication Cephalexin, she suffered a severe allergic reaction.
'On the sixth day, I just woke up... it was so scary... I had basically been poisoning myself with something I didn't know I was really scary allergic to.'
The star spent one night in hospital before resuming her tour, but she fell sick again the following morning and was forced to return to hospital.
Miley said the hardest part about being ill was 'not being out on the road. I would feel good... [and ask the doctors] "Can I go? Can I get back on the stage?" That was the hardest part.'
At the time the former Hannah Montana star had said she was feeling 'good' and 'much better'.
Miley's tour was scheduled to move through Europe until mid-June and then return to the US for two weeks in August.
