Brazil legend Ronaldo geared up for of this summer's World Cup by going skydiving - a month before the five-time tournament winners take the plunge to win a sixth on home soil.
The 37-year-old uploaded pictures on his Instagram account on Monday of he and four friends undergoing the activity.
The World Cup's all-time highest goalscorer was all smiles he prepared to plummet thousands of feet through the air.
Ronaldo, who is an ambassador for the tournament, scored 15 goals for his country during four World Cups - eclipsing the previous record set by Germany's Gerd Muller during the 1970's.

He is surely enjoying his retirement!
