Sir Alex Ferguson is expected to have little or no say in who will be the next manager of Manchester United.
The 72-year-old former United boss, who won 38 trophies in 26 seasons at Old Trafford, was effectively handed full authority to choose his successor after announcing his own retirement last season.
His choice, David Moyes, was fired today after an early morning meeting with United chief executive at United's Carrington training HQ.
