Kroos joins Real Madrid: "Coming here is a dream come true"

Germany international Toni Kroos has joined Spanish giants Real Madrid on a six-year deal from Bayern Munich. Following confirmation of the deal, the 24- year-old flew to the Spanish capital from Mallorca, where he has been on holiday following his country's World Cup win. Immediately after landing in Madrid, the player travelled to the Sanitas La Moraleja hospital to undergo a medical, before being unveiling by the Champions League winners. Before leaving Mallorca, he spoke to AS: "Coming here is a dream come true". Asked about Cristiano Ronaldo, he said: "He's a great player, but Madrid have other fantastic footballers." At 9:30 this morning, Real released the following statement on the club's official website: "Real Madrid C. F. and FC Bayern Munich have reached an agreement for the transfer of Toni Kroos, who will join the club for the next six seasons.
