While most 20-year-old lads are still scrounging for pocket money off their parents, Harry has bought a piece of art worth almost as much as his £3million, four-bedroom mansion.
But then what's a cool £2.8million when you're in the biggest boyband in the world?
I'm told Harry bought the picture – similar to the one right – by late Haitian-American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat – at famous auction house Christie's last week.
Harry, worth an estimated £25million, was introduced to the cult artist by Jay-Z.
My source said: "Harry's a big fan of art and sees it as a good way to make money. Rather than a splurge, he thinks it's a smart investment.
"He already has an art collection worth about £150,000 but that's nothing compared to this purchase.
"He wants to invest his cash and Jay-Z advised him to buy art"

The 1D star and Jay-Z are not alone when it comes to buying Basquiat's work.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Madonna are also big fans of the artist, who died from a heroin overdose in 1988 aged 27.
Personally, I think a blind toddler could have done a better job – but then again what do I know about art? Bugger all, to be precise!
And what else is Harry going to spend his hard-earned cash on, apart from wooing a string of famous babes into bed?
At least he's being sensible with his dosh – unlike fellow pop god Justin Bieber...
