United legend Paul Scholes rolls back the years with a 'Scholes special' from his own half in 7-a-side match

We've all been there, you're playing a friendly 7-a-side match with your mates, and you're struggling to break down the opposition.
The fitness levels aren't great, your striker is giving your team little to no support, even your bruising centre-half 'Stevo' can't crunch the opposition.
But wait a minute, you've got the ball. 'Keep possession, slow it down,' they say. But not every team has a Manchester United icon within their ranks...

Chadderton Park Legends can't get the ball in their match against Chaddy Park Vets. That is, until a certain Paul Scholes gets the ball... and look what he does next, the ball fiercely dips towards the goal.

Paul Scholes wins the ball back for his Chadderton Park Legends side, and fires towards goal. The goalkeeper has no chance of stopping it - he's obviously not used to facing this kind of prestigious opposition on his weekday evenings!

The 39-year-old made his name in the Premier League with several stunning strikes for Manchester United, becoming a maestro from 25-yards plus during his Old Trafford stay.

But he never scored from his own half, something former team-mate and The Class of '92co-star would know more about.
