The singer was wearing a £2,915 Christopher Kane wool-blend parka with real fur collar, which would have no doubt hit a bum note with any fellow Vegans dining at the restaurant.
Fashion faux pas aside, the mother-of-one looked effortlessly stylish as usual, teaming the coat with quilted tracksuit bottoms and platform ankle boots.
Beyonce was recently seen taking to Jay to the popular organic restaurant, Café Gratitude, in Los Angeles, earlier this week.
The couple, who left their 23-month-old daughter Blue at home for the occasion, tucked into a range of meatless dishes including marinated kale salad, Indian curried lentils and corn tacos with chipotle butternut squash, according to TMZ, before enjoying vegan chocolate truffles for dessert.
Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway and singer Ariana Grande were also dining in eatery at the time.
Their outing came just one day after Jay Z revealed that he and his wife were inspired by a close friend to give up animal food products until December 25.
