UPDATE ON THE CRASH-OBASANJO FIRST SON MAY HAVE BEENON BOARD THE ILL FATED FLIGHT

An Akure bound aircraft belonging to Associated Airline crashed shortly after take-off on Thursday. The chattered flight had passengers who were billed to attend the funeral of Ondo State's former
Governor, Dr Olusegun Agagu. The passengers included the former Governor's family members. There are reports that Gbenga Obasanjo, son of Nigeria's former President was also on the plane which was believed to be carrying the remains of the late former Governor. About 20 passengers were on board the aircraft which had already gone about 200 feet off the ground before it came crashing within the local wing of the airport.
