Jonathan & His Boys Steal 400,000 Barrels Of Oil Daily – Tinubu

National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Bola Tinubu, has accused President Goodluck Jonathan of being insincere that he knows nothing about the 400,000 barrels of crude oil which the former Lagos State governor said was being stolen from Nigeria daily.
Tinubu, who spoke at the flag-off of Governor Abiola Ajimobi's campaign in Ibadan on Saturday, insisted that Jonathan was allegedly responsible for oil theft and that he should be removed by all Nigerians during presidential election.
He said,"God will not take us back to the bad days again. We will not see PDP here again because God has chased them away.
Segun Oni and Oyinlola have realised that PDP is not the right party. Leaders of the party have deceived us for too long but I did not allow them in Lagos.
"In the past, Oyo was a violent state but that has disappeared and we will not go back to the dark days. APC stands for the actualisation of better future for our children.
"Jonathan and his government are stealing 400,000 barrels of crude oil every day in Nigeria.
He is telling us that he cannot see that amount of crude oil being stolen in the system, yet he calls himself the President.
He is running a government of thieves and we will use our votes to send him away. He is taking away all our wealth."
He also spoke about former Governor Rashidi Ladoja's removal from office, the role he (Tinubu) played to restore him and how Ladoja refused to work with Ajimobi despite his (Tinubu's) several appeals.
On his part, Governor Aregesola, also accused the PDP of bringing suffering and corruption to the country, adding that the administration of the party since 1999 had sent Nigerians to slavery.
He said,"A litre of kerosene is now N120 but the landing cost is just N40.90k. They give to marketers at the rate of N95. That can only be done by a fraudulent government.
They feed on fraudulent act perpetrated in the oil industry. PDP is a shameless party and they must go."

The 28-year-old won the Bundesliga title and DFB Pokal with Bayern Munich, before crowning a superb year by winning the World Cup with Germany.
Other favourites such as Thomas Muller, Toni Kroos, Arjen Robben and Philipp Lahm miss out on a podium spot.
Fifa and France Football will announce the winner on January 12 at the Fifa Ballon d'Or Gala.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge hopes Bayern Munich can emulate Barcelonaby becoming the dominant force in the Champions League over a number of years.
The Bundesliga champions have won European club football's elite competition five times, but it took them 25 years after their third win to lift the trophy again, before they had to endure another 12-year wait for their fifth glorious campaign.
Barcelona on the other hand have won the Champions League three times in the past decade and FCB chairman Rummenigge aims to become as consistent as the Catalans.
"I want to win the Champions League another time. Barcelona have always been an example for me because they won the Champions League a number of time within just a few years," Rummenigge told Bild.
"It's one of my dreams to shorten the gap between two of our Champions League wins.
"We have had some lengthy spells without winning it. We had to wait for 25 years until we won it again in 2001 and then 12 more years for the next win.
"Bayern want to have a theoretical chance at winning the trophy each and every year.
"We have to keep improving our squad year after year."
The Bavarians made it to the semi-finals of the competition last season and have already booked their place in the knockout stages this term after securing top spot in Group E.

Ancelotti: Platini should keep quiet over Ballon d'Or

Real Madridcoach Carlo Ancelottihas hit out at Uefa president Michel Platini in the wake of the Frenchman's comments that a German player should win the Fifa Ballon d'Or rather than Cristiano Ronaldo.
Platini stated earlier this week that a Germany international should scoop up the individual award following their successful World Cup campaign, thus causing unrest in the Madrid camp, with Alvaro Arbeloa and Fabio Coentrao both attacking the Uefa chief for his "campaign against Ronaldo".
Ancelotti has now also come to the defence of his star player and has stressed Platini should have kept his opinion to himself.
"I share Arbeloa's opinion. I don't think Uefa's president should opine about the Ballon d'Or," Ancelotti said at a press conference.
The Madrid coach then went on to praise Lionel Messi, but refused to discuss the Argentine's chances of winning the prestigious award.
"Messi is fantastic, but I will not speak about what Barcelona are doing for the Ballon d'Or."
Meanwhile, Madrid have backed Arbeloa, Coentrao and Ancelotti and have released a statement condemning Platini's comments.
"In response to the comments made by the president of Uefa, Michel Platini, concerning the winner of the Ballon d'Or," the statement reads. "Real Madrid C. F. would like to outline:
"Firstly, its surprise at the repeated comments regarding his personal preferences over the choice of the winner of the Ballon d'Or, particularly given that he is the head of European football's principal body, where our understanding is that the strictest impartiality should prevail.
"Secondly, the Ballon d'Or is an individual rather than collective prize which is awarded annually to the best player in the world, and we believe that, in order to maintain its prestige, those who participate in the vote should take into account exclusively the individual professional achievements of the players.
"Finally, we believe that Cristiano Ronaldo has without doubt had his best ever professional year individually, and has claimed the Champions League, the Golden Shoe and the record for the highest goalscorer in an edition of the Champions League, as well as the Copa del Rey and the top-scorer award in La Liga. In the current season, he has won the European Super Cup, scoring both goals in the match, and is achieving spectacular figures such as his 20 goals in the first 12 matchdays of La Liga, which confirm his great moment of form and ensure that, more than ever, he is deserving of the Ballon d'Or."

First Class Graduate Of Economics Shot Dead By Policeman While Defending Girlfriend [See Photo]

A gun-happy policeman has killed a 30-year-old first class graduate of Economics from theAhmadu BelloUniversity, Zaria, according to reports.
The victim, Moses Murtala Aminu, who lived atNo. 67 Ahmadu Ahidjo Street, Narayi High Cost family residence, Barnawa, Kaduna State went to a party on Sunday, where the police constable that killed him, Alex Okpe, was beating up his girlfriend outside the party venue.
When he tried to intervene, the policeman got angry and shot Aminu, who died on the spot.
The constable was also said to have shot in the air as he escaped on his motorcycle.
Officers attached to the Barnawa Police Division had since arrested him, reports say.
Kaduna State Commissioner of Police, Femi Adenaike confirmed the incident. According to him, Alex Okpe has been arrested and he confessed to the killing on interrogation.
Okpe however claimed that he fired the shots in 'self-defence'.
"The suspect is in the cell and we have commenced investigation.
And if he is found guilty, we will give him an in-house trial and summary dismissal so that he can face the law for homicide," Adenaike said.

2015 Election- Jonathan Will Sweep Poll In South West – Survey

The hope of President Goodluck Jonathan of sweeping the Presidential poll in the South West geo-political zone in 2015 has brightened up with the result of the opinion poll conducted by a political group, 'Forerunners Group', and which was made available to journalists in Ibadan.
Forerunners' officials, at a press briefing told newsmen at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Press Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan, that 58.2 per cent of the non-partisan persons in the zone had declared their support for Jonathan's re-election come 2015. Director-General of the group, Hareter Babatunde Oralusi, said the group arrived at the percentage of the non-partisan persons willing to support the President's re-election based on an independent survey (opinion poll) conducted by the group.
According to him, "the phase one of the poll conducted in the South West is to determine the number of the people registered with political parties and the statistics show that 14.6 per cent of the population in the region are card carrying members of one political party or the other and this indicated that 85.4 per cent are non-partisan.
"The phase two is to determine the size of non-partisan general public in the South West that is willing to support President Goodluck Jonathan's re-election in 2015 and the outcome showed that 58.2 per cent of the non-partisan persons were willing to support President Jonathan's re-election.
"Out of the voting population, 12.6 per cent of non-partisan persons were undecided on who they were willing to support, while 29.2 per cent of non-partisan persons were willing to support other candidates from different political parties," the DG stated.
Oralusi said the 2015 Presidential election in Nigeria would be similar to President Barrack Obama's re-election based on the result of the survey and could be predicted if necessary machineries were put in place.
"President Goodluck Jonathan will not only be re-elected as president but he will be re-elected with overwhelming majority votes."

FG To Buy Cooking Stoves With N9.2bn For Rural Women

The Federal Executive Council on Wednesday approved the purchase of N9.2billion worth of clean cook stoves and wonder bags for rural women under the National Clean Cooking Scheme.
Wonder bag is a non-electric slow cooker invented by Sarah Collins, ‎a south African eco-entreprenuer, who came up with the idea six years ago during a power cut, when she decided to keep her dinner cooking by surrounding the pan with cushions.
The council also awarded a contract of N60.9billion to an indigenous firm, KaKatar CE Limited, for the provision of engineering infrastructure for Kyami District, Zone C, Abuja.
Supervising Minister of Information, Dr. Nurudeen Muhammed; Minister of Environment, Mrs. Lawrecia Mallam; and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Bala Muhammed, briefed State House correspondents at the end of the meeting presided over by Vice President Namadi Sambo.
Muhammed said the N9.2billion inclusive of Value Added Tax was approved for the procurement of 750,000 units of clean cook stove and 18,000 wonder bags.
He said the stoves are expected to be delivered by Messrs Integra Renewable Energy Services Limited within a period of 12 weeks.
He noted that the stoves which will be assembled locally, will provide jobs to Nigerians among other benefits.
The minister said, "The National Clean Cooking Scheme is an aggressive drive to engender clean cooking culture amongst the poor rural women, to reduce and possibly eliminate cooking with solid fossil which is detrimental to health.
"The scheme is expected to provide 20 million clean stoves over a five-year period at the rate of four million stoves yearly which will be distributed without charge.
"It will also reduce incessant felling of trees which exposes the country to ecological problems.
